Project Highlights
C-15 Foundation is creating a live, work, play, and thrive campus for individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). PWS is a rare genetic condition that can lead to physical, mental, and behavioral issues. Individuals with PWS deal with hyperphagia, an intense and insatiable hunger that leads to excessive eating and food preoccupation.
C-15 Foundation will provide an opportunity for young adults with PWS to live independently while still receiving guidance and oversight from on-campus coaches.
The 108-acre development will feature residences, a secure dining hall, an activities center, an administration building, and a sustainable farm.
Private tiny homes will provide residents their own space within a safe, connected community. Homes will not include kitchens or refrigerators to help with food supervision. A secure dining hall will serve a curated menu of nutritious foods and will serve as the only area on campus where food is accessible. The activities center will include an indoor pool, walking track, and yoga room, and the campus will have a farm to grow fruits, vegetables, and healthy starches. This farm will provide residents with daily tasks and an opportunity to care for small animals.
