Interior Designer

extroverted-introvert, dog lover, coffee enthusiast, old soul, aspiring antique collector, wanderlusty

As a child, I spent a lot of time doodling floor plans and rearranging my bedroom. I would set up villages for my toys made of my books, boxes, or whatever else I could find laying around. I loved getting lost in books – learning how things work and how people live. At the time, I did not see the connection, but now it makes perfect sense.

I attended the University of Alabama where I majored in interior design, and I got my master’s degree in sustainable interior environments at the New York School of Interior Design. Thankfully, I still get to doodle floor plans, set up places for people to live and work, and continue learning how to create designs that are good for both people and the planet. I feel incredibly lucky that I found a career that I am so passionate about and a workplace that allows me to do what I love.

After a stint in New Orleans, my husband and I moved to Atlanta, and I joined the VDG team. Now, we love calling Georgia home. In my time away from work, you can find me exploring one of Georgia’s many parks with my golden retriever, Ellie, checking out the newest restaurant, spending time with our friends, or planning my next trip.
