Associate Principal - Technical Director
family man, sports fanatic, Yankees and Redskins (Commanders) fan, Clemson Tigers alum, boat enthusiast
I was born and raised in New Jersey (insert Tony Soprano accent) 30 miles west or 33rd and 3rd. I attended Clemson University and double majored in baseball and architecture. I got to experience the College World Series and become a lifelong Tiger Fan. After a brief minor league baseball career, I began my journey as an architect.
My design career started in New Jersey with a return to Clemson for my master’s degree, which included a semester in Genoa, Italy. After graduating, my wife and I relocated to Atlanta. My career has been unique, and after becoming a licensed architect my career shifted.
Making lemonade out of lemons, I transitioned to BIM Consulting. I gained valuable experience training engineers on this new workflow. Prior to joining Vickers Design Group, I was a Director of Virtual Design and Construction at a large AEC firm. All the stops in my career have prepared me to share my knowledge with the design professionals at VDG and explore new technologies that continue to evolve the AEC industry.
When I’m away from the office, I try to play some tennis and golf clubs. But mostly, all my wife and I’s free time is spent traveling and supporting our two boys in their personal athletic journeys. My oldest is a swimmer for the University of Georgia, and my youngest is an aspiring soccer player on the ECNL club circuit. When we become official empty nesters, we hope to travel for pleasure and make more friends who have boats.
