Senior Associate - Market Development Lead, South Florida
As Market Development Lead, Molly Young serves as the primary point of contact for our clients throughout South Florida. With over two decades of experience in the development and construction industry, Molly brings expertise that strengthens every phase of a project from planning and programming, budgeting and forecasting, to contract negotiation, stakeholder coordination, and quality control.
In addition to her industry expertise, Molly currently serves as the Mayor of the Village of Tequesta, where she leads City Council meetings, guides policy and budget decisions, and represents the municipality across regional and state organizations. Her public-sector experience enhances her private-sector work, adding nuanced insight into governance, entitlements, permitting, and community engagement.
Molly’s career includes serving as Director of Construction & Development for the world’s largest boating network, where she oversaw all Florida projects from minor renovations to multi-million-dollar developments. She has also held senior project management roles in owner representation and commercial construction, delivering marine, mixed-use, office, and ground-up projects. Her portfolio includes leading feasibility planning, managing capital programs, navigating permitting and environmental requirements, coordinating design and construction teams, and ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
Molly is a recognized leader within professional organizations and has been appointed to multiple boards through her government and volunteer service. She is currently the President of the Palm Beach County League of Cities, represents the Twelfth District for Florida League of Cities Board of Directors, is the Chair of the Florida League of Cities Finance and Taxation State Policy Committee, serves on the Board of Directors for The Reef Institute, is a former member of Palm Beach County’s Multi-Jurisdictional Issues Forum Executive Committee, and is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County’s Engage Class of 2024.
