Principal - Chief Executive Officer
Travis Vickers grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he was inspired by his father’s work as an architect and firm owner. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from the University of Florida before beginning his career in Orlando, where he contributed to projects with Disney, the Orlando International Airport, and leading hotel brands.
His career later took him north, where he focused on multifamily developments and eventually led the Atlanta branch of a Florida architecture firm. In 2011, Travis founded Vickers Design Group, where he oversees the firm’s strategic vision, daily operations, business development, and brand messaging.
With experience spanning airports, hotels, educational facilities, restaurants, multifamily and single-family housing, religious facilities, sports and recreation venues, and corporate interiors, Travis brings a broad and versatile design perspective to every project.
He is an active member of NAIOP Georgia, serving on its Board of Directors from 2014 to 2020, and has also served on the Big Trees Forest Preserve Board of Directors from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, he is a member of IIDA Georgia.
