The Origami Risk team had been expanding rapidly in the Atlanta area and looked to Vickers Design Group to create a new office that fit its size and personality. Origami Risk’s paper crane logo provided inspiration for angled walls and faceted light fixtures. Looking for synchronicity with its Chicago headquarters, color palettes and furniture selections were similar, while providing character unique to the Atlanta team. The space is designed as an open work environment with a multitude of rooms for focused client calls. Each phone room playfully gives admiration to Georgian musicians. The town center provides a space for all-hands meetings, a fun-loving break area, and site lines to enjoy incredible Atlanta views from the 17th floor.

Expanding to the top floor of Regions Plaza, SalesLoft teamed up with Vickers Design Group again to provide the best for their engineering team. Fresh green carpet tiles and rich blues activate the collaborative areas, while a soft gray palette in the benching areas helps to highlight the arched windows and expansive city views. A dark, moody café with a playful marquee sign are the signature features for the floor. Comfortable booths with customizable lighting are key for employees during moments of heads-down work. The huddle rooms with garage doors provide flexibility for SalesLoft’s collaboration-centric teams.

Open collaborative spaces throughout create opportunities to work in various environments for Dematic, a global engineering company. Warm, industrial finishes are used to create a modern feel throughout, while pops of color appear in the furniture. Open-to-structure ceilings are incorporated throughout all open areas to allow for a cohesive feel and maximize natural light within each area. Several huddle rooms are placed strategically throughout the floor to allow for teams to collaborate together as well as a larger training room for in-house sessions.
