Local Leader Molly Young Joins Vickers Design Group to Lead South Florida Expansion
Vickers Design Group |Vickers Design Group, an Atlanta-based architecture and interior design firm, is proud to announce the opening of its West Palm Beach office and the appointment of Molly Young as Market Development Lead for South Florida.
In her role, Young serves as the primary point of contact for clients across South Florida, leading business development efforts and guiding projects from early planning through execution. She has more than 20 years of experience in development and construction, with expertise in planning and programming, budgeting and forecasting, contract negotiation, stakeholder coordination, and quality control.
Young also currently serves as Mayor of the Village of Tequesta, where she leads City Council meetings, guides policy and budget decisions, and represents the municipality across regional and state organizations. This public-sector experience enhances her private-sector work, providing valuable insight into governance, entitlements, permitting, and community engagement.
Young’s career includes serving as Director of Construction & Development for the world’s largest boating network, where she oversaw projects ranging from minor renovations to multi-million-dollar developments. She has also held senior project management roles in owner representation and commercial construction, delivering marine, mixed-use, office, and ground-up projects. Her portfolio includes feasibility planning, capital program management, permitting and environmental coordination, and leadership of design and construction teams.

Young is a recognized leader within professional organizations and has been appointed to multiple boards through her government and volunteer service. She is currently the President of the Palm Beach County League of Cities, represents the Twelfth District for Florida League of Cities Board of Directors, is the Vice Chair of the Florida League of Cities Finance and Taxation State Policy Committee, serves on the Board of Directors for The Reef Institute, is a former member of Palm Beach County’s Multi-Jurisdictional Issues Forum Executive Committee, and is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County’s Engage Class of 2024.
The West Palm Beach office will serve as a hub for projects throughout Palm Beach County and the greater South Florida region.
